Confirmation

Upon receipt of your request, Focus Halong team will check and inform you about availability. Your booking is considered confirmed when we receive your acknowledgement.

Voucher

Vouchers will be issued to you after we receive your confirmation and/or your deposit/payment.

Warranty

In some cases, to hold your reservation, hotels will require your credit card details or guarantee. We will email you a credit card authorization form. To validate the guarantee, you will have to fill the form with all required details and return to us by fax or email.

Deposit

Tour booking: you are required to remit a deposit of at least 50% of the total tour price before the tour be processed. Hotel reservations: in case your hotel reservation requires guarantee, you may opt to send a deposit as an alternative to furnishing your credit card details.

Payment

Payment can be made by the following accepted methods: cash, credit card, wire transfer, telegraphic transfer, travelers cheques or combination. Except for cash payment, bank fee charge may apply (any bank charge must be borne by customers). Our bank account details are as follows

Credit Card Payments
Focus Halong reserves the right to charge administration/service fees for balance payments made by credit card. These charges are 3% for Visa or Mastercard and 4% for Diners or American Express.

Amendments & Cancellation Fees
Focus Halong reserves the right to charge a minimum amendment fee of USD $20 per person for each change to a confirmed booking. This is in addition to any fees charged by the supplier.

Focus Halong also reserves the right to charge cancellation fees of a minimum of USD $100 per person to cover administration expenses. The cancellation fee can be as high as the entire purchase price (100%) of the booking. The cancellation fee charged by Focus Halong can increase in relation to the manpower and time spent on actually processing the cancellation. The calculation of the particular cancellation fee charged may be provided upon request.

The cancellation fees charged by Focus Halong are in addition to any fees charged by cruises, airlines, tour operators, hotels, wholesalers or any ther supplier. The fees charged by these suppliers can be up to 100% of the cost of the particular product purchased. The cancellation fees charged by these suppliers can be found on their respective web-sites and/or in their brochures.

Cancellations will be charged as follows:
More than 30 days prior to trip departure. No charge, however 100$ US deposit is forfeited.
15-29 days before arrival: 10% charge
7-14 days before arrival: 40% charge
5-7 days before arrival: 50% charge

3-4 days before arrival: 75% charge

2 day before arrival: 100% charge
 
In view of these cancellation fees it is highly recommended that all clients take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover any eventualities. Focus Halong will not take any responsibility for anyone who does not take out comprehensive insurance.

Validity of Prices
Prices on the Focus Halong web site are subject to availability and conditions. Although every care has been taken, the prices are not guaranteed and are subject to change without notice.
Any featured prices for a cruise or for accommodation or any other package will normally be based on a minimum of two adults sharing, unless otherwise indicated.

Featured prices may be subject to port and airport taxes, plus government charges. Please ensure you are aware if such charges are included in your particular cruise. Please also check if gratuities are included in your particular cruise price
